| Abstract | A pecuária bovina de corte é umas principais atividades econômicas do Pantanal Sul Mato-Grossense, planície inundável da Bacia do Alto Paraguai (BAP) com extensão de 89,98 km2. Seguindo o ritmo de cheias e secas sazonais, a atividade tem por característica o deslocamento frequente do gado. Este sistema de criação extensivo faz a ocupação temporária de áreas de acordo com o acesso às terras baixas e disponibilidade de pastagens, organizando seu território em forma de redes. O objetivo deste artigo foi caracterizar as formas territoriais da criação de bovinos no Pantanal Sul, considerando esta lógica de articulação espacial que cria territórios-redes, bem como a diversidade de agentes que atualmente empreendem a atividade e, assim, configuram um campo de multiterritorialidade. Os resultados permitiram uma análise em torno das atuais formas de ocupação, dominação e apropriação territorial da pecuária pantaneira, que superam a visão clássica de base material contínua aplicada ao conceito, ao se realizarem de forma descontínua no espaço e no tempo e sendo construídas no e pelo movimento. Além disso, revelaram articulações sócio-espaciais multiescalares que extrapolam os limites municipais e da planície pantaneira. ABSTRACT: The beef cattle livestock is one of the main economic activities in the Pantanal Sul Mato-Grossense, a floodplain of the Upper Paraguai Basin (BAP) with a length of 89,98 km². Following the rhythm of seasonal floods and droughts, the activity features the often cattle displacement. This extensive creation system makes the temporary areas occupation in accordance with the lowlands access and pastures availability, organizing its territory in network shape. The aim of this paper was to characterize the territorial forms of cattle farming in South Pantanal, considering this spatial articulation logic that creates territories networks, as well as the agents diversity that actually undertake the activity and, thus, constitute a multiterritoriality field. The results allows to analyze around the current occupation, domination and territorial ownership occupation of the Pantanal livestock, which exceed the classical view of continuous material base applied to the concept, held in discontinuously shape in space and time and being built in and by the movement. Besides that, they revealed socio-spatial multi-scale joints that go beyond the municipal boundaries and Pantanal lowland. | |||
