| Abstract | O presente trabalho tem por finalidade descrever uma pesquisa realizada no INPE (Instituto de Pesquisas Espaciais), São José dos Campos, em 1976, com o objetivo de elaborar manuais de auto-instrução, a nível de treinamento, para iniciantes na área de Engenharia de Sistemas, e, em seguida, verificar a efetividade desta instrução, em termos absolutos e em termos comparativos. a comparação foi feita entre os resultados de aprendizagem obtidos através da instrução individualizada, utilizando oa manuais de auto-instrução, e os obtidos através de instrução grupal, usando diversos recursos didáticos. Os manuais foram especialmnente criados para atender a uma necessidade localizada numa situação real de ensino-aprendizagem. O trabalho inclui também o embasamento teórico que fundamentou a elaboração dos maniais e uma descrição detalhada do processo de desenvolvimento dos mesmos, com o propósito de oferecer subsídios aos estudiosos que se interessarem por sua aplicação em outras áreas. ABSTRACT: This document describes a study carried out at INPE (Instituto de Pesquisas Espaciais), São José dos Campos, in 1976, with the objective of developing self-instructional manuals to train beginners in the area of Systems Engineering and subsequently verifying the effectiveness of such instruction, in absolute and comparative terms. The comparison was made between the learning outcames of the individualized instruction offered by the self-instructional manuals and those of group instruction that used various learning resources. The manuals were developed specially in order to fulfil a need spotted in a real teaching-learning situation. The work includes also the theoretical vasis underlying a the development of the manuals as well as a detailed description of the process of their development, with a view to offer subsidies to researchers interested in using them in other areas. |
