| Abstract | Este projeto tem como objetivo desenvolver o estudo teórico sobre a atmosfera terrestre e aprofundar-se nos estudos do fenômeno de luminescência atmosférica e suas aplicações para o monitoramento e estudo da dinâmica da alta atmosfera terrestre. A partir dos conhecimentos adquiridos na etapa de revisão bibliográfica, com a leitura de livros e dissertações sobre o fenômeno, a progressão do estudo parte para a análise das ondas de gravidade, suas origens na baixa e média atmosfera e seus impactos na alta atmosfera, incluindo a região ionizada da atmosfera terrestre. Na etapa de análise, se fez necessária a aplicação de técnicas de programação, e nesse caso a linguagem IDL (Interactive Data Language) para realizar o tratamento dos dados das imagens de luminescência obtidas a partir do imageador all-sky operado no Observatório Espacial do Sul (OES/INPE), localizado em São Martinho da Serra-RS para a linearização destas imagens de aeroluminescência. Os dados utilizados foram coletados entre 2017 e 2018. Nesse trabalho será apresentada uma revisão teórica do tema estudado, exemplos de dados coletados, a metodologia de análise, incluindo o processo de linearização das imagens, e exemplos de resultados obtidos. ABSTRACT: This project aims to develop the theoretical study of the Earth's atmosphere and to deepen the study of the atmospheric luminescence phenomenon and its applications for monitoring and studying the dynamics of the Earth's upper atmosphere. From the knowledge acquired in the literature review stage, with the reading of books and dissertations about the phenomenon, the progression of the study starts for the analysis of gravity waves, their origins in the low and middle atmosphere and their impacts in the high atmosphere, including the ionized region of the Earth's atmosphere. In the analysis stage, it was necessary to apply programming techniques, and in this case the IDL language (Interactive Data Language) to perform the data processing of the luminescence images obtained from the all-sky imager operated at the Southern Space Observatory (OES/INPE), located in São Martinho da Serra- RS for the linearization of these aeroluminescence images. The data used were collected between 2017 and 2018. In this work, a theoretical review of the studied theme, examples of collected data, the analysis methodology, including the process of linearization of the images, and examples of obtained results will be presented. | |||
