NotesInformações Adicionais: This work aims to analyze the characteristics of the ceramic films obtained by anodizing to electrolytic plasma (PEO), the
study of this process is an alternative with a smaller number of steps in the anodizing process commonly used in industry, PEO has
only 3 steps in process while conventional anodizing has 6 to 7 steps. In addition to the reduction of the process steps, the analyzes
indicate that anodizing through PEO brings viable applications of the process in the industry and the characteristics of the ceramic
film obtained by such process, show satisfactory results depending on the suitability of the process to what is expected to be obtained
from the process. ceramic film, tribological and morphological characteristics were analyzed by comparing them between the two
process configurations, using different current densities between the processes, being them; 10 A / dm2 with and without refrigeration
and 20 A / dm2 with and without refrigeration. The ceramic film obtained through the PEO process generates greater resistance to
wear and possible corrosion, in addition to being able to be applied in other metallic alloys. This work evaluated the effect of the
temperature of the PEO process on the morphology and tribology of the films deposited at different current densities, on the aluminum
alloy AA 5052.
