abstract = "O estudo e a implementa{\c{c}}{\~a}o para o aprimoramento do
Subsistema de Suprimento de Energia (Power Supply Subsystem PSS)
O PSS inclui o Gerador Solar (Solar Array
Generator SAG), a Bateria (Battery BAT), a Unidade de
Condicionamento de Energia (Power Conditioning Unit PCU), e a
Unidade de Distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o de Energia (Power Distribution
Unit PDU).
e Distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o de Energia (Power Conditioning and
Distribution Unit PCDU). Todas incluem o Conversor DC/DC. Para
{\'o}rbitas LEO (Low Earth Orbits), a topologia totalmente
considerada ideal considerando a massa e o volume, onde o curto
trabalho apresenta a modelagem, projeto e simula{\c{c}}{\~a}o do
bibliogr{\'a}fico e a modelagem, projeto e simula{\c{c}}{\~a}o
do controle do conversor.
matem{\'a}tico do conversor DC/DC bidirecional; 3) as
implementa{\c{c}}{\~a}o futura. ABSTRACT: The study and
implementation for the improvement of the Power Supply Subsystem
(PSS) must accompany the development of space missions, dealing
with the need for the satellite platform to provide more and more
power to the payload, which causes an increase in mass and,
consequently, an increase in the cost of the mission. The PSS
includes the Solar Generator (SAG), the Battery (BAT), the Power
Conditioning Unit (PCU), and the Power Distribution Unit (PDU).
Both may be merged in the Power Conditioning and Distribution Unit
(PCDU). All include the DC/DC Converter. For LEO orbits (Low Earth
Orbits), the fully regulated topology, using a bidirectional DC/DC
converter, can be considered ideal, considering the mass and
volume, where the short time of incident sunlight implies a fast
battery recharge, a higher charging current being necessary,
requiring more power for the charger. Thus, this work presents the
modeling, design and simulation of the control of a bidirectional
DC/DC converter for application in artificial satellites in LEO
orbits. This is done through a bibliographic study and the
modeling, design and simulation of the converter control. For
this, the work presents: 1) a bibliographic review of switched
DC/DC converters, their control techniques (Voltage Mode Control
and Current Mode Control) and the most used topologies; 2) a
mathematical model of the bidirectional DC/DC converter; 3) the
transfer functions to assist in the design of control loops; 4)
the control of the internal current loop; and 5) a simulation of
the converter operating in closed loop. This work is part of an
ongoing project at INPE, seeking to design a new generation of
PCDUs for Brazilian satellites. This research intends to establish
the best topology of the DC/DC converter taking into account the
quantity of components and the most efficient control technique,
enabling the fabrication of a prototype for future
implementation.",
