varredura (MEV), o perfil{\^o}metro {\'o}ptico, o
perfil{\^o}metro mec{\^a}nico e difrat{\^o}metro de raios X. A
dureza, o comportamento tribol{\'o}gico, a esclerometria e a
a concentra{\c{c}}{\~a}o do eletr{\'o}lito, mais espesso {\'e}
maiores valores de carga cr{\'{\i}}tica.
ABSTRACT: The
anodizing process is one of the most practical and cost-effective
surface treatments and is widely used to increase the wear
resistance and hardness of aluminum alloys such as AA6061.
Anodizing was performed in order to evaluate the tribological and
mechanical properties of the material with surface treatment in
relation to the untreated alloy. In this study, anodizing was
performed with constant time, varying current density and
electrolyte concentration. To characterize the obtained film,
scanning electron microscope (SEM), optical profilometer,
mechanical profilometer and X-ray diffractometer were used.
Hardness, tribological behavior, sclerometry and coating adhesion
were evaluated. The results revealed that the higher the current
density and the higher the electrolyte concentration, the thicker
the coating and that the roughness increases with the increase in
current density. The coatings that showed greater homogeneity in
pore formation had lower hardness values. All the coatings
produced showed failures within acceptable limits according to the
VDI 3198 standard. Regarding the sclerometry test, it was observed
that the anodized samples with higher current density obtained
higher critical load values. In the case of wear resistance, the
anodized samples with a higher electrolyte concentration showed a
better performance in relation to the others.",
